There are customs when attending a Live Theatre performance. These customs have been observed for centuries by so many thousands of people, so excited to enjoy a live theatre performance.

You check-in at the Box Office to receive your ticket for the performance. Perhaps you visit the refreshment area. You hand your ticket to the person standing at the entrance to the house. Then, you are given a Playbill, then you choose your seat and settle in to enjoy the show.

For the next moments you may not realize it, but you are a captive audience. You open your lovely Playbill and page through it until that magic moment when the lights dim for the performance.
